Counterflow Cooling Towers

Counter flow cooling tower is one of the two types of cooling towers that are used in commercial and industrial facilities. These two cooling towers differ by the direction of flow of the cooling water and the air. The water flow in counter flow cooling tower falls vertically while the direction of the air flow is horizontal. This type of cooling tower requires small floor space. The volumetric efficiency of this cooling tower is higher than that of the cross flow type. The heat dissipation efficiency of the heat dissipation fins is better because of the even and uniform dispersion by the mechanical movement on the heat dissipation fins.
